President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived in Japan

President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived in Japan on Tuesday, 12th March morning on a four-day official visit.
Hon.Prof. G.L. Peiris, Minister of External Affairs, Hon.Nimal Siripala de Silva Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management, Hon.Sajin de Vaas Gunawardena, Monitoring MP for Ministry of External Affairs, Mr.Lalith Weeratunga, Secretary to H.E the President and Mr. Ajith Nivard Cabraal Governor of the Central Bank, were among the Sri Lankan officials, along with a business delegation, accompanying H.E. the President on his second official visit to the country.
President Rajapaksa and First Lady Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa were received by Hon. Minoru Kiuchi, Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs in Japan, Admiral (Rtd.) Wasantha Karannagoda, Sri Lankan Ambassador in Japan and Ambassador Nobuhito Hobo, Japanese Ambassador in Sri Lanka at Haneda International Airport in Tokyo.
