“Bridal Elegance” Bridal Show

First ever bridal show in Sydney for the Sri Lankan community was held on 10th November at Castle Grand. Show featured Dilini Janaratne’s latest bridal collection under her fashion label EthniQ supported by 12 premier Sri Lankan wedding service providers in Sydney: Shantha Fonseka of Sarees in Style, Devika Garth of Divine Stems, Sandya Alahendra of Sanvil Beauty Salon, Radha Ruthiramoorthy, Indrani Mahanama of Indy M Beauty, Mihiri Kotagama of Hair & Makeup Artistry, Rishani Warnakula, Milinda Kotagama of Poruwa Plus, Roy Gunaratne of RoyGrafix, Kithsiri Karunaratne of Yasiru Multimedia, Shivani and Dinesh Ekanayake of Fusive Entertainment and Duke Ramachandra of Duke’s Event Management.
The bridal collection featured 8 different design themes from traditional Kandyan saree to sophisticated bridal designs for the urban girl in touch with the mood of the modern wedding. A capacity crowd of 550 fashion lovers were treated to an extravaganza of bridal designs to match their taste. The collection compiled of new styles and evergreen classics showcased by 26 stunning models.
Choreography by Shivani and Savanthi. Bouquets from Devika. Gorgeous 6 off-white bridal and 2 going-away bridal sarees were from Shantha. Models were dressed by Sandya, Radha, Indrani, Mihiri and Rishani. Music by Dinesh. Poruwas by Milinda. Event photos by Roy and videography by Kithsiri. Master of ceremonies was Duke. Dance performances from Subhaga.
